BIO!!

Lucas velez Born in NYC then moved to PR when I was 7 years old. I lived in PR until I was 22 and that is where I fell in love with the art of cutting hair. In my town appearance was very important, so I started getting cuts twice a week. Growing up in a street enviroment, I started living the life of the streets. But sooner or later I had to make tough decisions! I started looking up to my Barber Charlie Otero, and asking him questions, hanging out more frequently at the shop. From there on I felt in my heart that being a barber is what I wanted to persue. I started practicing by cutting my friends. After learning a bit of the basics. I didn't take it serious so I stayed in school and played the streets untill I got caught. I was 19 and with twins on the way . Having two daughters to live for I decided I had to make some changes in my life, so I went back to my passion. Not having too much experience I felt that being a barber was in my blood. My mother Nancy Salvador was also a hair stylist in her time. I went and took a course of barbering in my home town FAJARDO PUERTO RICO. It changed my life for the better. From there I moved back to the Bronx where I fully put the trade into play. I've worked with alot of good barbers and learned alot from each and every one of them. Im thankful for all of them as well as people that came into my life for a reason. They were there for a the moment in my life in which I needed them. Some of them gone and some still in my life. We grew up together and went through moments in which we cried laughed.and enjoyed life to this day i still have the same passion i had 17 years ago wen i started working the tonsorial art and appreciate every moment that is stored in the memory bank. so thank u for taking time out to read my bio your Master Barber Lucas Aka Bori Aka Masterfade
